This FREE event will connect you with local service providers and state disability agencies for the lifetime journey of disability. Attendees will be connected to valuable resources, services and information so that individuals with disabilities will be able to actively participate in their communities and will be BRIDGED to Community.
Join Be Strong Families and the City of Columbia for a series of cafés designed to hold space for meaningful conversations that help us keep our children safe and families strong. Parents, caregivers and family members are welcome. Great raffles and dinner will be provided. This event is adults only.
The Community Health Fair will have free health screenings for breast and cervical cancer, colorectal cancer, HIV/STD testing, behavioral health services, school vaccines, and other community resources. Free food boxes or gift cards will be given to the first 100 patients served.
During this event, you will have an opportunity to sit down, one-on-one, with a lawyer to ask for guidance and direction on any number of legal issues you are facing. Past attendees have had a chance to ask about guardianship, criminal charges or civil disputes. Registration is required.
