Orangeburg County First Steps invites parents, caregivers and families to a FREE Family Leadership Seminar designed to help families build on the strong foundation established during the early childhood years and continue supporting their children’s success in school and beyond.
Through engaging conversations with educators, community professionals and fellow parents, participants will explore practical strategies centered around three key areas: ADVOCATE — strengthening your voice and partnership with your child’s school; CONNECT — building relationships and accessing resources that support children and families; and PROTECT & SUSTAIN — supporting children’s health, development, well-being, and family stability as they grow.
The event will also feature keynote speakers, community resources, lunch, and supervised activities for children ages 3 to 12, allowing parents and caregivers to fully participate
