Fire Fest 2026

The annual Camden Fire Fest is celebrating 30 years on Saturday, Sept. 26!

This family-friendly event allows residents and visitors to learn about the importance of fire prevention and fire safety while enjoying live firefighting demonstrations and competitions, a live burn, an up-close look at antique fire trucks, live entertainment and games for all ages. Admission is free.

The day begins with a parade of current and antique fire trucks through downtown Camden. The parade leaves Camden City Hall at 9 a.m., travels down Rutledge and Broad streets and ends at the main event at Camden City Arena, 420 Broad St. Fire Fest activities at the arena run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Each year, Fire Fest kicks off National Fire Prevention Week. This year’s Fire Prevention Week campaign is “Charge Into Fire Safety: Safe Charging Is a Superpower,” which focuses on everyday charging habits that can help reduce the risk of lithium-ion battery fires and keep homes and communities safer.
