2026 Stand for Children Prayer Walk

Join Fostering the Family for their 4th annual Stand for Children Prayer Walk! A day to come together as one to pray for the children in the foster care system, their families, and caregivers. Together we can make a difference!
- When: Saturday, April 25th | 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Where: Starting at First Baptist Columbia (1306 Hampton St, Columbia, SC)
- Featured Guest Speaker: Rebekah Weigel, M.A.- writer and producer of Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot
- The Kids Zone: Arrive early! Starting at 10:00 AM we will have bubbles, sensory bins, and yard games for the children.
- The Walk: We will gather for a short time of worship before walking together in prayer to the steps of the SC State House.
- What to Wear: Comfortable walking shoes! We will provide your blue pinwheel upon arrival.
