ArtFest

This annual festival, a partnership between the Mount Pleasant Towne Centre and the Town of Mount Pleasant brings families and cultural enthusiasts together with budding and professional artists for an event that showcases a diverse array of local and regional artistic talent. 

Local music, dance and visual arts studios offer stunning performances by some of the area’s most talented individuals and groups. Creative aspirations are ignited in children who are given opportunities to explore many art forms and create their own masterpieces. 

Stroll the Art Walk, featuring the incredible creations of local artists such as Clay and Sea, Joe Benton Photography, Momma Maddies Sweetgrass Jewelry & Collectibles, Bright Star Designs, Potting Around, Jason Travis Woodwork, Olatu Designs, Little Arrows Candle Co., Bair da Bru, Moonstar Macrame, Hyssop & Honey Art Boutique and Beachy Keen by KK. 

Enjoy a tons of kids activities including Pedal-powered Spin Art with Good Clean Fun, caricatures, balloon art, face painting, fairy hair, Sweetgrass Basket demonstrations, arts & crafts and more. Visit some of your favorite MPTC stores at the event. 

Food and snacks will be available for purchase from Charleston RiverDogs Food Truck, Big Shrimpin’, Zimos Gyros, Chick-fil-A, Crazy Chris’s Concessions, Wetzel’s Pretzels, Kona Ice, Holy City Popcorn, Holy City Homemade Italian Ice, Nothing Bundt Cakes and Pure Fluff Co., plus beer & wine from Burtons Grill & Bar. 

All activities and performances are free of charge. The event is for residents and visitors of all ages, from young parents and children through seniors.
