DESCRIPTION:The Healing Hearts Grief Program helps children ages 5 to 18 process the loss of a loved one. Our program is designed to help children connect with peers and express emotions through therapeutic activities as they navigate the grief process. \nParticipants attend four classes\, each focusing on a different topic: emotions\, memories\, coping skills and changes. Parent/caregiver classes meet concurrently and cover the same topics\, enabling continuous grief work at home. \nAll classes are free and dinner will be provided.
