DESCRIPTION:Join us at High Falls County Park for the Domestic Violence Awareness Walk\, a community event dedicated to raising awareness\, supporting survivors\, and promoting resources for those impacted by domestic violence. This free\, family-friendly event invites the community to come together in solidarity with survivors and take a stand against domestic violence. The walk will take place at 10:30 AM around the park’s main loop\, but there’s much more to explore before and after! \nWhat to expect: \n\nCommunity Resource Booths – Connect with local organizations offering support\, education\, and advocacy.\nInspiring Guest Speakers – Hear from survivors\, advocates\, and community leaders.\nInteractive Activities – Leave messages of hope\, paint kindness rocks\, and take part in engaging projects that raise awareness and promote healing.\nFamily-Friendly Fun – Enjoy coffee trucks\, kids’ activities\, and a welcoming space for all ages.\nMoments of Reflection – Participate in the Purple Ribbon Ceremony and other opportunities to honor survivors and victims.\n\nWhether you walk in memory\, in hope\, or in support\, your presence makes a difference.
