Postpartum Pods are limited to 8 mom/baby pairs and are facilitated by an experienced Postpartum Doula and different subject matter experts. \nYou will be part of an intimate cohort of mothers with same-age babies and get specific guidance around developmental milestones\, regulating your baby’s sleep routine\, breast and bottle feeding\, separation anxiety\, maternal identity\, and so much more! The most valuable benefit of our Postpartum Pods may simply be being seen by others going through this exciting but at times overwhelming phase of life and developing strong bonds with other moms… But you’ll also learn how to mindfully navigate the first few months of your child’s life\, as well as gain resources to help you and your little one develop ongoing confidence and joy. \nYou will also be able to join our Pod-only WhatsApp group. Within this group\, you’ll connect with the other pod participants and our Postpartum doula\, receiving ongoing advice and unwavering support throughout the pod’s duration. Even after your pod concludes\, this platform remains accessible\, fostering ongoing connections with fellow moms. \nMeeting dates: Every Friday for 6 weeks: June 13\, 20\, 27 & July 11\, 18\, 25.  The 7th group session with our Postpartum Doula will take place three months after the completion of the Postpartum Pod.

DESCRIPTION:The Experimental Archaeology program includes two hands-on activities – Making Cordage and Making a Pump Drill. First\, participants will learn how to make simple cordage using raffia. Then\, each participant will make their own pump drill using craft supplies. Participants can then test their pump drills by making beads with Smarties® Candy. All crafts can be taken home at the end of the program. \nThis program is for ages 8 – 18 years old\, however\, younger children can participate. Running through June\, each camp will take place Monday through Thursday for approximately 3 hours per day 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. There are two separate sessions for each of the orbit Academy and Rations to Recipes camps. Session 1 is for ages 7 to 10 and Session 2 is for ages 11 to 13. The cost for each camp is $20 per person.
