Community Café

Community Cafés bring people together to talk in small groups about issues that matter. At this café, conversation will focus on:

• what we love about our community

• the struggles families in our community are facing

• what support could help those families thrive

These Community Cafés are part of a larger effort called OPT-In for Families. In South Carolina, OPT-In aims to better support families who are at high risk of child welfare involvement. As part of their study of OPT-In, Chapin Hall is cohosting this Café to learn from the perspectives of caregivers of children under age 18 living in Aiken County.
